I have two, both Chinese and both with the open book headstock, both in white and both are far superior to any Epiphone Custom I've ever played on...AND, they're cheaper....only issue I had was the Pup's, they were a little light for me...now they're Seymours and they wail like they should have...

Exactly what threw me...the dot markers...the colour does appear to be an 'all over' finish, by that I mean it isn't just on the face of the guitar, it has a shade of purple an the rear, and neck....anyway, it looks great [ to me anyway ] and plays a dream, so I'm one happy bunny [ or is it...

Son is learning to play and loves my Goldtop by Tokai. Now, I don't want him to have an expensive Japanese, or an even more expensive American....so are there any Tokai or Burny's out there you may know of or want to get rid of....? Thank You! :D

Hmm, wasn't too sure at first, but having seen her in the flesh, decided to add to my stash...Goldtop next, then another custom, but in black. I tried out some Epi's and a coupla Burny's, but this one looked better and sounded sharper than the others....and its in good shape too for the money!

Neither are Gibson...Fender, Hagstrom, Brian Eastwood, Gretsch....what is this thing that MIJ is superior to everything else??? I don't get it...yeah, they're superior 'cos they're cheaper..value for money???, but not necessarily in build quality...I've played, over the years, plenty of MIJ...
