Also the double cream pickups that came with the rock version are DiMarzio PAFs. One of my favorite pickups.

Someone named Google. LOL

Obviously, it takes some interpretation at times to understand and it struggles to read hand writing at times.

It was a huge production to put together the early catalogs.

The 1982 catalog was epic.

Spring 1982 catalog says "cashew" in the description of the ES150R (see below).

I'm not blind. I know the 81 ES150 is spec for cashew. lol
I am interested in how to test a guitar in hand to verify it is actually Cashew. By smell, or some kind of chemical test. Or someway to test the finish to verify it is actually Cashew. Something besides the amber color on the binding and logo.

Your guitar from that thread.

"N" is the color. It's not Blonde as this thread says. N = Natural color.

And that is a link from the auction when it ws active I believe. November 2022.

You're welcome. It was one of the few ES150Rs I could find on line. Seems like I may have found another one in Japan? Or maybe it was a J?

57's no stickers again. As I wrote on the SG thread, stickers seem not to be part of the qc process 🤷‍♂️
