Information Resources for all Japanese Guitars

Post by JohnA » Fri Jan 11, 2008 8:04 am

In response to some recent posts I'm starting this thread, hopefully to get as much info as we can in one place for easy reference.

I'll start the ball rolling with these links:

A good source for catalogues from Greco (in English!!) Fender, Fernandes and others:

matsumoku - Aria, Washburn & Epiphone catalogues
http://matsumoku.org

Loads of good links thanks to Ozeshin

K Yari Acoustic catalogue thanks to MIJvintage

Thanks to cheshirecatsmile
It's an article from a Guitar Mate publication called Japan Vintage no2, (from Dec 2003), with about 30 pages of detailed photos of different model (mainly) Springy Sounds and lots of parts details. If you can read even a bit of Japanese, there is a lot of useful information regarding specs on different models, etc. It's worth looking at for the photos alone!
