LS145s - Neck Profile Question

Hello,

I'm seriously considering purchasing an LS145s GT, but I'm wondering about the neck profile. Generally, do these models possess a profile similar to that of a Gibson R6? I hope so. After playing an R6 two months ago, I immediately started lusting for a thick neck guitar.

Also, what about the hardware - I know the tailpiece is aluminum, but is the rest of the stuff nickel or chrome?

they're different... the 145s profile is close to a 59 (big and confortable), I love the neck on mine! The R6's necks are a bit too thick for my taste, I've tried a R4, R6, R7 and R8, all a bit way oversized (and I do like thick necks), even though they're also great guitars, I'd probably choose an R0 if I was to go with a gibson.

only the bridge is aluminium, like it should be, even on original 50's les pauls only the bridge ought to be lightweight aluminium.
