My hunt for information continues. I just came across a Tokai that is called a DH502. It looks just like mine. I thought mine was a NES-80. Has anyone heard of a DH502??
Search complete: the DH502 is made in China. I have been told they are unique to Canada. This guitar is fantastic. It howls. If anyone gets a chance, check it out.
Got a DH502 today at Mother's Music in Calgary, Alberta, Canada for $299.00 CDN. They have 2 left...a blue and a red. According to the staff there will be no more Tokai Guitars imported into North America. True or not...???
