I'll be asking Uncle 'ACY' if he's got an aluminium wrap-over STP :D

Is that an adjustable bridge?

Do you know what flavor of P90's are in it?

Thanks,

Scott

Hi Scott

The bridge has small grub screws on the side which allow you to fine tune the intonation.

The Pickups are Gotoh, I had a peep at them.
The baseplate of the pickup is embossed with the words "Gotoh pickups"

LP-Old F at the Neck and LP-OLD R at the Bridge

I guess F= Front and R=Rear ???

Chris,

great looking guitar !! Congrats !

I've never played a guitar with those P90s ... GAS ??? 8) 8)

Enjoy! :p

Hi Chris!
Also got your email!

Gotoh is not offering nice "wrap over bridges". I?ll also have to look for a good one, as I?m getting a LS125S, also with a wrap arround bridge!

The pickups are the same as the stock pickups I had on my LS85S. Not bad, but there is better ones!

good on ya, "ACY"

I wonder if that nice Mr Wilkinson has a lightweight wrap over bridge ? :-?

I find the guitar more comfortable to play than my Les Paul reborn. My hand sits better on the bridge.

togps - That looks stunning

What bridge piece is that ?

Looks like it's got more adjustment than the one on mine.

Hey Chris,

That's a Wilkinson bridge - you can get them through Stewmac. I have one that just has a moveable G/B ridge on my Tokai Jr. and it works great.

Nice guitar - I've been wanting a single cut Special for a while now. :)

Nobody wants to ask the main question?

How does ist sound, with that cross cut middle section? Is there any noticable difference? Sustain? ....................

Let me get back to you on that one. The strings it arrived with are old.
It does have good sustain but I believe it could be a whole lot better :D

Togps, how did you remove the posts for the stop tail piece, or was that tokai wraparound to begin with... looks beautiful...

Thanks, Bruno.
Yep, it is a custom made Tokai model.
Refer as well here:
