My buddy went to NAMM and swears he played a new MIJ Gretsch. I know there are older MIJ Gretsch, but I thought Fender stopped that in '03 when they bought them out.

Does anyone any info on new MIJ Gretsch guitars?

Really? The pricing is painfully high for an MIJ guitar. I saw they have a MIJ Elliott Easton model for $700. That seems more than fair, but most their offerings are much more expensive.

The guitar my buddy played the the Billy-Bo. List $3,000 US Dollars, street price is about $2,200...that's brutal when you consider what you can get from Tokai, Edwards, Greco, Burny, etc.
