Is there a big difference be a late 1970s Greco Black Beauty and a 1984 Greco Black Beauty with the flower pot inlay on the headstock?

That is the only response I can get? Doesn't anyone here know anything about Greco Customs?

Are you sure the flower pot inlay is from the mid 80's? I thought it was from the mid 90's.Anyway.
I'm not sure but I think you might get a chambered body from the 70's, while the mid 80's is probably more near to the "classic" les paul.

Hi,
in general I would prefer the late 70's. But that depends on the grade of model. The higher grade models of the late 70's don't have a chambered body. Better ask for the models (if the sticker on the back of the headstock still exists) and the serial numbers. I think they started with the flower pot inlay on some guitars around 1985/86, the serial number would help to identify.
Regards
Volker
