I am considering buying a 1980s Greco (dont know the exact year). The guy says it is a EG-700 and the neck ends around the first pickup (could mean anything). I just have a couple quick questions about these:

-Do these models have Long Tenon?
-Are these models as good as a early 80s EG-900?
-What kind of finish was used (nitro or poly)?
-Pretty much anything else you can tell me about this is helpfull i couldnt find any info on the EG700.

I don't mean to rush you guys but i'm in a bit of a hurry.

Thanks!

From the auction Q&A:

>Thank you for your question. I think the neck ends around the front pickup. I do not know the exact year of it. I think the model was EG-700 but I am not sure.

Sounds like it does NOT have a long tenon to me. Ending around the front pickup does not mean a long tenon into the pickup cavity.

Also, seller thinks it's a 700 but not sure? That would scare me away.

No fret edge binding. Maybe this is standard on a 700, I don't know.

No serial #. I thought they all had them.

Missing pickguard (so you'd have exposed holes), but looks like a 1-piece top.
