And now I found a serial in the bridge pickup cavity:
F9812018.

Does that tell us anything?

Hm. That trussrodcover is actually similar to the one on my Burny SG, which I actually think is more authentic than this (funny how we discuss the authenticity of replica guitars ). However, that trc has an edge below the two lower screws and no ridge as my LP has...

Do you have any info on guitars that looks like mine in the catalogue? If my suspicions are right, the serial number F9812018 indicates that this is a '98...

there are many Japanese makers who do use the serial number to date their guitars... my guess is the same, it`s a 1998.
But there are no SG models in my 1997 and 1999 catalogs... none... I had a 1998 but lost it. So, I don`t see anything that looks like yours in my catalogs.

I've added cavities..., or directly:

Any comments? Sorry for all this, but as it is so difficult to be bombastic with the Burny dating process, I need all the views I could get. What do you think of the neck joint, for instance?

Hm, if you look at the images, that's a bit long neck tenon for a Korea model as far as I have heard...?

Looks to me like a '90s model, 98 most likely-look at those dinky POT's-
I have one simular- do the center seams match up inside the pickup cavitys??

Actually, I forgot to look that closely. The maple cap isn't really that figured, and looks real in all respects. But shouldn't the neck tenon be shorter if it was a Korea model?

I don't know what every one elses verdict is but here's some problems I have with some of the things the seller has said.

Burny's went at least up to RLG-120s because I've seen them.

They were made at Fuji Gen Gakki well after 1980.

Other than that I don't know.
