Have a springy sound Strat I think is a TST 50. Rosewood neck, spaghetti logo, looks like a 62 copy. Serial is 0006565-hmm, does that match anything anyone knows about?

Well, first ? you really need to check the Registry & do a search on dates & serial numbers etc., that will turn up loads of useful info .

But, specifically - 7okai spaghetti logo means guitar is between 1978 & 82. Number on neckplate is not supposed to be a serial number, instead it generally just indicates which Fender model is being copied.

However at risk of immediate self-contradiction ? I?m seeing increasing evidence that up until 1980 early Strat & Tele copies DID have an S/N indicating date ? the numbers appear to follow same pattern as Les Paul copies ? your S/N looks like 1980 to me (that?s my present best guess) .

Ian.
