Is anyone currently or in the past used or just tried out a Tokai ES 100/120
semi-solid body double cutaway model?

How does it compare with a Gibson ES 335, please.
Thanks.
Stephen

I've got an ES120 and it's excellent.Played quite a few Gibbo's some good ,some bad (twice the price) and couple of great examples (four times the price!) :( .Overall the Toks are great value nicely finished and easy on the pocket! :)

I have an ES-100 and it's great. I prefer the neck profile to the recent 335s I've tried; the Tokai has a more substantial feel, apparently truer to the '59 Gibson specs. Pick-ups are balanced with good output and I have no hesitation in recommending the ES-100 to anyone who's after a 335 type guitar.
