can another ls 150 have the same s/n

I was looking at some pictures on the internet of a ls 150 and noticed it had the exact same serial number as mine.Is this possible?

if one would be e.g. from '79 and the other one from '90 :eek:
 
'No' on both counts
1) Serial numbers for 1979 and 1990 are both different
2) LS-150 was discontinued after 1985

My idea was there were no LS-150 on 90's,according to catalogs only LS-200,LS-220(I've never seen any ever) and LS-320(similar to old LS-200 from 80's).
 
problem here in Japan is... makers produce models that are not listed in catalogs, often times as special runs for shops or chain stores... so just because a guitar is not listed in catalogs doesn`t always mean it isn`n possible. The more I learn about Japanese makers the more I realize... anything is possible.
