Please help me authenticate a potential purchase

Post by Tsjackson » Wed May 20, 2020 10:54 am

Hi there,

Brand spanking new to the forum, I don’t actually own a tokai yet but I’m desperate to get hold of an early 80’s breezysound and think I may have found an interesting one but whilst I’m fairly clued up on springysounds I know nothing of what to look for on a breezysound. It’s being sold as an all original 1981 (other than bridge pickup obviously, original is included)

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153824657705

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I REALLY want to buy it haha

Cheers

Toby

Hi Toby

That looks like a legit TE-60, but the price is about £300 higher than you should be paying for it, IMHO.

Cheers

If the condition is good the price is inline with sold on Reverb for 81 models.

That doesn't make it a good price unfortunately. Save your money. Or don't!
