I bought a Tokai 1984 GoldStar Sound second hand but I didn't ask what the model was i.e. TST50 etc. Is there anyway I can find out by looking at the guitar? |

The tuners, and if you look under the hood at the pickups etc... Take a few pictures and put em up. |

the pick ups are not original and have been swapped out at some point in time so that probably makes it difficult to determine the model.
Thanks for any feedback |

I'm not an expert but i think it's at least a ST50, anything lower and they had different tuners. Have to see the back of the scratchplate and the routing for any more info. |

You could also look in the control cavity where the production stamp is.
That would also give an indicator depending on the letters used.
Looking at the Alder body, it's a pretty safe bet this is a TST-50 YSO. _________________ The world will not end today...because it is already tomorrow in Australia. |
