Saw this listing and wonder what the consensus here is - I like the color, but is it original? Never saw this color on an ST80 before

What makes the seller sure that is a ST80?

Hey guys, thought you might be interested in this.

I bought that ST-80 on a flyer. I believe it is as advertised. The sonic blue is faded on the outside and pristine under the guard. It has a soft "V" neck. I tested the paint and it is nitro. "A" guard with "E"-stamped pickups.

The lower tone knob was replaced and the switch does not appear to be original. Other than that, she sounds great!

It is in the shop right now getting a set-up; I'll post some pictures when I get it back.

This is only my second post. I have 4 Springys, two Breezys, and a Silverstar. I'll get the group together and post some pics of those later too.

All that, does indeed sound like ST80 material.

Congrats on the new Springy , and get those "group" photos up, we'd love to see them.
