A friend of mine sold me his old Tokai Goldstar Sound Strat after I pestered him for nearly ten years. Problem is I cannot find serial number. I think it used to be on neck plate, but he swapped this out for one with a Hendrix logo on and now he can't find it. I have swapped it back for a plain one but would love to know when the guitar was made. It has a fifties style neck with vintage frets and a fantastic look light golden laquer. It has the modified headstock, a lovely thick but light body and vintage style tuners. I think the nut may also have been replaced at some time. I am based in England.
