I am not much of a Strat guy. The only one I own is my Tyler Variax, and I bought that primarily for the Variax functionality not its "stratness."

I did recently purchase a Greco Spacey Sounds.
Anyway, there has been a Tokai Mat Strat on my local Craigslist for an eon and a half. My understanding is that these are made of metal or something? I've seen various opinions on the Intert00bs but I'd like the official Tokai Forum opinion(s).
From what I have researched in closed sales, $450 seems pretty reasonable but I am not aware of model differences within the Mat Milieu (tm) that might account for price variance, and to what extent it would vary.
