Aloha... I know that the Fender JV's started in 1982... so here is a December 1981 Greco Strat with Fender markings in the neck pocket.. ???? The Pick guard is November 21, 1981, 2 piece center seam body. Pickguard is plastic. Pickups are marked "31276" I assume these are Excel Pups.... My thinking is .. maybe this is a JV Body??? or what do I have here?... Thanks... Cliff

its only a jv body if it has the correct routing for the wires in the front pu cavity and the deeper cut, i think its a greco body with a fender shim...

Usually the neck pockets of the Grecos have a number to denote the model like 5 for 500, 6 for 600 and 8 for 800. It could be that the body is not from a Greco and is from a Fender.
Super Sound is normally an SE-600.
