https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CleGcQjY-SI Here is a clip from James May`s , (ex Top Gear presenter`s,) new series on B.B.C TV which aired tonight here in the U.K. The programme called"The Reassembler" sees James reassembling a vintage Tokai Goldstar St 60 with E pickups.I watched the whole programme and he goes on to lavish praise upon Tokais with a bit of background on the so called lawsuit era and even plays(or at least his producer does) little mean Strat blues .Now watch your Tokais rocket in price as a result of his endorsement.

It wasn't the best programme in the world but an aside about the difference in Phillips screws and Japanese screws explained why I had to replace the trem spring screws on my 1983 Squier when I bought it new
