One piece back, one piece neck (no heel cap) and nitro finish.
However, goldtop.
Seems to be a solid flame top under the gold as well.
Weird it is.
Does anyone know if the workers occasionally did LSD or somehting?

But weird.
FEB, nitro, one pice back, no heel cap neck and the maple top has a well centered seem. Doesn't make sense at all.
Why is it gold? Never heard about Japanese manufacturers doing factory refins like Fender and Gibson did back in the days. |

Could be.
But, that would be known to the staff before they glue the top onto the body.
I can't recall I have ever seen a onepiece body and nitro finish on a goldtop. |

Did you test top or back for nitro? I heard the top is an acrylic lacquer (wich also reacts to acetone)on the gold top but poly on the back and neck. |

Back and top is either acrylic or nitro.
reacts to acetone.
I just wonder why a one piece body on a goldtop.....Never seen it before.
No indications that it is a customer order either. |

I have had a 1-piece back RLG-50 and RLG-60. Not sure why they used them either. |
