Forgive me Father for I have sinned.

I have just re-fretted my "vintage" 1984 Super Edition Strat, with medium jumbo wire and re-radiused the neck from 7.25 to 9.5".

It plays and sounds great. I put the original U p/ups back in (I had a set of SD Alnico Pro IIs in).

My defence is that this is a guitar to be played. It isn't worth a fortune (or much at all now I have changed the neck radius) but it will beat many strats that are worth a fortune :D

Do you think 15 Hail Marys is enough?

ha, i just had my goldstar refretted and i must admit i thought about doing this. kept to the straight and narrow in the end though! i figured its easy enough to upgrade another squire if i want another flatter radius gtr neck.

i'm with you on the whole "gtr is a tool" thing though
