Hi,
I recently bought this guitar, the seller said it is a japanese model but I have my doubts about it
Here are some pics I took:

https://picasaweb.google.com/alloralosai/Bacchus

I found this page with the exact model, it is supposed to be a japanese model from the 90s
http://vintagejapanguitars.narod.ru/BacchusBLC.html

But I also found the universe line lp custom made in china, pretty similar.

The pickup may have been changed for korean ones.. But about the routings?.??

Hope someone can help.
Thanks in advance

I would say it is one of the chinese series called Universe.
Call me if you want to discuss it longer. Who is the seller?

Here is a picture of the oldest Bacchus MIJ I have owned. All the others had long tenons but none had dowel-reinforced tenons like yours. My guess is MIC, possibly not a genuine Bacchus from looking at the headstock inlay.

I sent the guitar back to the seller because it was not a japanese model as stated in the ad.

I actually got in contact with his first owner , which confirmed it wasn't a japanese model.

Aniway, it was a good guitar, the body was very resonant.
the pickups were rubbish tough

thanks to everyone
