Hi all, might have a chance to buy an FA 180, apparently it is a Korean model, I have a couple of Japanese Tokai's so I know all about the quality of those but not sure on the Korean ones although I have some fine MIK guitars from other makers.
The seller is holding it for someone else but I have second option, I could get this for ?350? any info would be appreciated.

As far as I know an FA 180 is a made in Japan guitar, it's now the FA 235.

The FA 70 was a Korean/Chinese made model.

If you can get an FA 180 for ?350 then grab it and run.
I had the FA 235 and it was a phenomenal guitar.

Thanks for that.
This is the add

The ad is incorrect...I think the seller is confused, the guitar must be an FA 70.

An FA 180 can never cost ?650 new.

Still a good price for a great guitar.

Yea I forgot what the 180 stood for, I should have known as I have a LS160 and a much cheaper LC85.
He seems a nice bloke actually and is only using the info passed on to him when he acquired it, I suppose the money he is asking is fair if he genuinely believed it to have cost ?650 new he has just got the wrong info on the model number.
Anyway I'll pass this time, thanks for the help.
