Hi

I'm new to the world of Japanese Replica guitars.

I recently bought a Burny Super Grade Les Paul on ebay form seller Chingo123.

Here is a link to the auction for your inspection:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/281023681151?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

He says it's a MIJ Late 80's model. Possibly at least a RLG-90. He says it also has VH-1 Pickups.

My questions are:
What do you gentlemen know about this guitar?

I know Burny has a good reputation., but will the quality be at least just as good as an epiphone. My research says it should.

Also, the seller says that these have VH-1 pickups. However I've read that there are various versions of this pickups. That these might actually be vh-4. Does someone know kind of vh-1 these are?

Thanks.[/url]

Probably a RLG-50 plain top. Epi's don't even come close quality wise to Burny's. You got a good one with a beautiful top.

Thanks for the replies. I'm excited and I can't wait to receive it. I once had a 60's Gibson Classic Series reissue with seymor duncans antiquities. I loved that guitar but foolishly sold it. This guitar looks like that guitar only for about half the price. Now it may not be on par with the Gibson but I know I will like it. I might actual put those antiquities seymor duncans in this Burny. It all depends how much I find out about the pickups and how I like them when I actually play the guitar.

That's a 1987-1990 RLG50 with VH3s.
Check the pot codes when it arrives.

May not be on par with your old Gibson? Yeah, your old Gibson probably won't measure up once you get this Burny. Your followup report will be interesting.

Unless your old Classic was an early 90s.
