For sale: Tokai Les Paul Reborn 1979 LS-80/100 in tobacco burst finish.

cant see where I can upload any photos here but I can email you photos.

pictures here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/frankajoerg/show/

Neck stamped as LS-80, body stamped as LS-100.

Probably originally was going to be an LS-100,then they decided to make it an LS-80, cos the original PU that were on this guitar were for an LS-80.

the original Gotoh pickups sounded like crap so I replaced them with new Skatterbrane pickups.
Earthbrane in the neck and Ben-Wabrane in the bridge.

Brand new black hardcase is included.

Guitar is located in Oslo, Norway but will ship overseas at buyers cost. Paypal is preferred.

Price 12 000 NOK (Norwegian Kroner). Freight costs is not included.
Freight cost to Europe would be around 500 NOK, around 82 USD.

Pickups were 365 Euros alone.

if you dont want the pickups, i can sell the guitar for 10000 NOK.
shipping cost not included.

I can get a hold of a LS100 Tokai original case in very good condition if you dont want the new black hardcase. total price with original Tokai case will be calculated upon interest.

Hi Frank,
Just mailed you with my news.
Looks like there'll be another lucky guy owning this and I might have to buy a modern workhorse gtr to churn out heavy rock.
It'll find a good home. :)

No worries:)

There are some other guys that are interested so I'm sure it will find a good home soon!

Good luck on the project! :)

sorry to say that: but the pics don't match 1979.
nice git, though.

well, in that case mister Villager is a liar and I seriously doubt that!

why do you think it isnt a 79?? the pickups? in the end of the slideshow you will see the sunny outside pics, thats with the original pups that I have removed.

Ill let you discuss this with Villager if you dont believe the specs ;)

I doubt very much that mark is a liar, too.

but the headstock simply does not match 79. it should be 'open book'.

ah: i can see the problem. the pics in the link in your first post clearly are from a different git then the one you are referring to. sorry.

rup

Btw: that's a real beauty.

if this is not open book headstock then I dont know what is..

maybe you are confuzing the Tokai Goldtop headstock here in the slideshow..

that one does not have an open book headstock, the 79 reborn does.

i dont know how to attach pics in a reply but look at the slideshow once again.

yeah, there you go ;)

and just to sum it up, Villager is NOT a liar :) he is the man I listen to when it comes to old japanese guitars!

however, you are right about one thing though, its a very nice git :)

thanks!
