Hello, I wanted to make a thread for people thinking about buying a Tokai ES60, I made some pictures of my 2009 chinese ES60 so that you can see some of the details. Note that the PU's and tuners are not original anymore.
binding & fret edges
Oiling the fretboard, it doesn't absorb the oil as quick as my other guitar, maybe there is some kind of protective layer on the fretboard.
In real life it is not as bright red as this, more like a Gibson.
And in real life you can see more of the grain of the wood through the finish on both the body and neck
rest of the pictures are low quality
It plays very well, no buzzing, plays and looks much better then the chinese epiphone and ibanez semihollows I tried. I had some intonation problems with 0.11 strings, so I removed the bridge saddles and turned them the other way so that there is more play in the string length and now the problem is fixed. Any questions about the guitar, or you want to see a particular part of the guitar? ask me
