So Gibson is copying another great piece of guitar history - the guitar used on Claptons Beano album.Clapton is signing it,Gibson is asking 18300 euros (around 27000 euros)

http://shop.guitarpoint.de/de/Gibson-Custom-Shop/Gibson-Les-Paul-Eric-Clapton-Beano-Aged-Signed

And as you can see it is sold...
Sold for 18300 euros !!! Those limited runs are going directly to collectors.Gibson is building those replicas with the best woods and their best luthiers and they end showcase

I see that buyers do get a 180gm vinyl LP re-pressing of the album though!

That is a lot of $$ for aMurphy aged R0 - I hope they really are better than the regular Historics.
But the Clapton 335 was selling for just as much, so a small group of people are definitely into this sort of stuff.

Yes,all this limited runs are selling like crazy.Except for the Beck oxblood model
