Hi

Does anybody know where to get a replacement scratchplate suitable for a st55 without drilling extra holes??

I want to experiment with some different pickups and I don't want to change the original scratchplate wiring etc as it's completely original.

I find the bridge pickup V1 (or is it VI)is a bit too much like throwing glass against a glass wall sound wise. My other tokai has U's and I prefer their sound.

If I get a new scratchplate I can dead easy turn her back to complete originality if I desire at a later date.

I don't want to buy a square blank as I have had enough experience of carving strat scratchplates to fit burns trisonics and kent armstrong cool rails to last me a lifetime.

Cheers
Ian

Is it an 11 screw 3 ply 62 scratchplate, or the 57 one ply 8 screw?

Whatever it is a Fender vintage series scratchplate will fit.

I got a pretty good one from Axesrus! All the screw holes lines up nicely.
Thanks had a look on there today pretty reasonably priced. Shame they operate from their house and it's not a real shop from what I understand. Wouldn't have minded seeing what there necks and bodys are like under close inspection.

Thanks
