ObG 54-ish

Post by Koubayashi » Sat Apr 02, 2011 7:22 am

Picked this one up yesterday.?

From 91. Terada of course.
No FEB, but nitro for some reason.
Just below 4kg.
Looks great and sounds great but the wrap around is miserable and won't intonate well.

You can get a wraptail that intonates properly.

Hint: Faber..
There is no revolution, only evolution..

cool! To bad to hear about the intonation though. I have a Greco SS500 with a wrap around and it intonates great.

Here is another one for you, a little pricey I think though.

I also paid that.
If you consider what a Gibson 54ri would cost its not expensive at all.

I guess so, they are very nice guitars and not too common so the price makes sense. Orville by Gibson seems to be very sought after.

There was one up at Jungle in Hokkaido for the same price, I guess it is not there anymore.

Nice to hear it sounds good.

I think the price is fair for what it is.
