Hi guys,
I recently bought a very used 1984 Mint Collection Greco Les Paul.
It does not have any fret edge binding and comes with Screamin pups.
It has veneer top so I'm guessing either EG59-45 or EG59-50.
It plays and sounds great but the upper frets are quite worn.
I'm in a dilemma.
1) Will replacing the frets really de-value the guitar?
2) If I replace the frets, which type of frets would be most accurate? (closest to the original)
Any info/advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
DV
