Hello from Sussex, UK!

Post by BLAM » Thu Feb 17, 2011 2:41 pm

I recently bought a 2003 MIJ Gold Top (an LS80 I believe) and found this site when searching for information. I've subsequently spent hours browsing through hundreds of interesting posts and so thought I'd better sign up rather than continue to lurk.

I have a varied collection of other guitars including a few Gibson Historics and think the Tokai stands up very favourably. Given how little they cost by comparision they seem to be amazing value for money.

At some point I look forward to adding to my collection but in the meantime I'm having too much fun playing the GT to put it down. It's previous owner fitted it with Seymour Duncans and it sounds top notch. Even with me playing it! :D

When I've learned/read how to post pics I will do but in the meantime I just thought I'd introduce myself.
