I have a Fernandes Randy Rhodes edition with the stamped Randy Rhodes scratch plate. I also have the Fernandes Rhodes copy that came with the floyd rose from new. That I replaced pickups on with reflex red active's. Both are amazing quality, I bought the replica because I wished in my later years that I had not got the floyd rose edition in my early years(i.e hair metal was god)I vowed If I ever saw one on ebay I would by it in a heartbeat. After years of waiting it came on. I have never seen a fernanded one since.

I was lucky enough to see Randy and Ozzys first gig together

at the Glasgow Apollo in September 1980......He played His Cream Les Paul

and Polka dot Flying V.......

small skinny little guy ..... but played with the heart of a lion ......

sadly missed.... :(

So did I mate and was lucky enough to see him again on 1st August 1981 at Heavy Metal Holocaust (Stoke). Alway remember the curtain opening in a V with Ozzy standing their with his v-signs aloft and the black light - awesome. Randy was so skinny!
