Here is a seller who won't accept bids from Rinkya.
Last night the highest bid was 31000yen by Rinkaya and today the seller removed it.

Which of course isn't a problem :D (so much cheaper for me, he he).

I have read about some of the Terada made Orvilles having issues with the inlays

I much prefer the FujiGen Orville examples :D ....... never had a problem with any inlays on them 8) .........

Never happened to me 8)

I think that generally, Obgs aren't interesting.
Too many small issues with them all the time.
And they have a serious issue with the headstock shape :p

i love my obg, but ofcourse it's a flying V, not a les paul.
I take it you also don't find greco's that interesting, because of the wrong horn shape?

Well, if I put it like this: a 50s Les Paul over any Japanese Les Paul at any given time :D

I do think Super Reals are a bit ugly close up. Mint Collection looks better.
But the headstock on ObGs are dar more "in your face" than for example the horn shape on Super Reals.

Anyways. This thread was about Rinkaya and an allusion on the other thread were "missing" auctions were discussed.

Seems to be a common problem I had a 93 FujiGen OBG
with inlays falling out and some half lifting, very annoying
as its not easy to fix, finding the right depth replacements,
removing half lifting ones, sanding, filler etc, One for a
potential buyer to be aware of and ask about. A reputable
seller never mentioned this when I was buying

Agree.
I don't like ObG very much because of the inlays.
Such issues are a trademark for budget guitars.
