I'm thinking of getting a Tokai Rockinbetter as an upgrade for the cheap Harley Benton Jazz bass I learnt to play on.

I was just wondering if any one knows if they're any good or not?

Also is this a good price?

Hi Zammo, it's really too little info to go on.
Judging by the price it's most probably Chinese and so it may not be any better than your Harley Benton bass.
Also, Dillion (and maybe others?) make "Rockinbetter" models nowadays so this may in fact not be a Tokai at all. More info needed in other words! :D

I've got a little more info, it definitely seems to be a Tokai. Plus I found a few people talking about one on a forum they all agree that its really good:

I live near to the shop that's selling them so will go along and try it out.

Here's a close up of one next to a real Rickenbacker:
