I hope I didn't post this twice! The first attempt disappeared in a puff of digital mystery!
I played a lovely jazz sound recently and upon taking the neck off discovered the words DEM 1997 printed (or written...) In the neck pocket. The neck is definitely an early 80s model, but I wonder about the body. Has anyone else come across this in their Tokai travels? Looking at the catalogue here the body is just like the AJB33 in the 1998 catalogue, color and all. Are there any other signs to look for? Most of the Tokai dating tips seem to be about neck details, not a lot about bodies.
