i've liked the ones I've tried, but from what I hear, the QC is very variable. From what I've heard, I wouldn't buy one without getting to try it first, but if I did get to try it first and liked it, I would. If that makes sense. EDIT: whether I'd buy one over a Japanese copy, though, I'm not sure. The big problem with Gordon Smiths (other than the QC) is that the basic models are very good value, but once you start adding options, the price starts to rise very quickly indeed. |

Sure are, and not 10 miles from where I live.
I have onea gs-1 and it's great. very resonant.
They even make the pickups themselves

it says usa has gibson and uk has gordon smith. india has givson...

I remeber there used to be a tiny shop in york UK that sold them . I remeber trying them out and was amazed at the sound of the pickups clean tone. It was like diving into a bar of galaxy chocolate it was sooooooooo smooth n creamy |

I had a very nice GSII but I have also seen some very poor quality control All in I must have had 30 Gordon Smiths and they are very nice guitars. |
