Blimey, 2nd question in a week!

The Mrs has decided the Marshall AVT is not suitable to sit in the corner of the 'family room'. Hmmm. To be honest it is a bit big.

I will sell this and get a cheapo just for my bedroom jamming. Any suggestions for something ?100 - ?200 that is small, (ie can fit in a cupboard), but sounds OK for 'rock/punky' tones?

The Line 6 Spider looks interesting.

EVH uses one as a warm up amp http://forum.metroamp.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=25587

Tech-21 Trademark-10 best sounding little amp you can get IMO

If you can find one! been looking for ages and only one or two on Fleabay. I'd listen to the Laney LC15R or Trademark 30 (if the cupboard will accommodate it). IMHO the small Line6 amps sound really 'thin' and artificial but it's all down to personal taste in the end...

I can personally recommend the Epiphone Valve Junior V3. Mine is stock, so there are no controls apart from volume, but it sounds great.

They are a super little amp. Discontinued, but you might be able to find one somewhere.

GREAT variety of USEABLE tones and XLR out should you like.
