Hi!

I bought used guitar, so I don't know the exact model. I know it's Japanize model build 1995 (I got this info from the serial number).
Model number is not located at the bottom of the neck pickup (someone adviced to do this check and I did but it wasn't usefull).

Thanks,

I'll give you some more info about my guitar if it helps:
-H-kind of logo below "Tokai" text
-black body with gold coloured bridge and tuning knobs
-three white lines going around the body's top

I though it is LC60 (http://www.tokairegistry.com/images/catalogs/v1808.jpg), but the logo below Tokai text is not the same (diamond kind of logo). It is rather letter H-like logo.
It would be nice to know for sure which model my guitar is.
So sad that specification text is so blurred in those pictures that it is not legible.

Try:

and Click on Alex Marburg's TLC60 and you'll see:

also Markku Pitkanen's LPC pic

It looks just like same guitar that is in those Markku Pitkanen's LPC pics (tuning knobs, pickup selector etc. look the same).

So, what is my guitar's exact model? LC60?

Does the letter H-like logo mean that my guitar is of custom model and how does custom model differ from the model of 1995 Tokai guitar catalog?

It would be also nice to know the materials my guitar is made of and what pickups it has?

In answer to your questions, the model number should be located under the neck pickup, if not then your guess is as good as mine. By going off previous Catalogues, the pickups are the PAF Vintage Mk2's, which I think are the Gotoh's (but dont quote me).

The neck wood should be mahogany, as for the body, if its a lower model (LC60, LC65) it'll be Basswood (look under pickups again and see what colour the wood is, if pale, then Basswood, if dark, then Mahogany).

The wood is quite dark brown (the color also have little yellow) wood.
So, I conclude that my guitar is LC65.

It's quite weird that there is no public information available about the H-logo.
I guess this question will remain open.

Thank you for very useful answers.
