Is this what the seller says it is? Just want to check before bidding.

All looks OK, but I'm always wary of sellers with so little feedback, the guitar is about 100 miles away from you it might be worth collecting in person if you win, just to make sure it's as described.

Also, ask questions before bidding, might be worth asking for some better pics, and some close-ups of the fret wear.

Good luck, Gotta love Goldtops!!

Looks like a Japan market guitar, no dimple in the headstock. Looks like a 2001 MIJ tokai.

Cheers guys I've asked for some more pics.

Generally what would be the going rate for a secondhand LS85?

I bought a 98 LS70F last year from japan for around US$600 and then $110 postage
My Ls70F is listed as a LS90-95 theese days
Beautiful guitar, craftsmanship great! can't fault it, medium neck tenon
Had a shootout with one of the young lads G'bs LP Studio, won all the way in sound, build, finish etc
Get it you wont be disapointed

Good on ya, if I'd have had the cash (opposed to tied up in other guitars) I'd have jumped on it.

My first electric was a Les Paul copy (Antoria) about 20 years ago but I've played strats and teles mostly since then, but for some reason recently I have had a itch for a gold top that just had to be scratched.

Just lucky with the auction I guess. Can't wait to play it through my AC30.
