are these guitars as good if not better than the historics??
also can they be shipped to the US from Guitar Universe?

Can't answer the question comparing LS320's to the historics because I haven't played either. But GS will put the pickups you want in the guitar and they will ship to the US. Also, you might want to wait until January because at the NAMM show (1/16) Tokai will be relaunching in the US and signing up dealers.

Hey thanks again for the quick reply. Is the US version going to be different body shape etc than the Japanese version? I?m looking for something as close to the original 1959 les paul as possible (Brazilian fingerboard etc.) the historics are nice but don?t want to spend 5k on a guitar 2400 for the ls320 is more in my league.

I know the top of the headstock is different - no dip. There are pics here:

However those are just the LS70/75 models but should be really close to shape wise to the LS320.

I'll be at NAMM and will report back - not sure whether there will be a 320 there or not.
