Tokai or fender?

Hi!
Can somebody help me. I?m not shure do I have Fender or Tokai stratogaster, or if it is a fake?

The only information I have right now is that the neck plate number is: L13979

looks like it's a Tokai

what does the lettering say before the ow in the control cavity?


Take the neck off and post photo's of the end of the neck by the truss rod screw.

Also include a photo of the bridge saddles and the rear of the pickups

Everything Chris said sounds right. It's unlikely to be a Tokai scratchplate as it's one of those fake mint-green types that some people love. As well as the pickups, let us see the controls - the switch & pots. Tokai switches are quite distinctive.

As for the neck, it looks like a cap board - common for Tokais, rare for Fenders. Are you sure you can't see any shadowing from the original decal under the Fender decal?

Where did you get the Fender decals shown with your pictures? I'm needing some.
 
I?m not shure wath the letterin says begause my friend borrowed the guitar for a gig and I don?t have it right now to take new pictures or to look some spects by hand...but hopefully I get it back soon..
