I agree with Marcus, such awful tone, it could have been any cheap LP copy. Yes mine sounds better than that! But that's not saying much.

Anyway, mine now has a set of Duncan Pearly Gates HBs on it, & they have a little bit more top end openness than most HBs have. And the other one now has a set of Bare Knuckle P91s, which are a little darker & fatter sounding than vintage type P90s. So I guess the sound of the 2 GTs is getting closer to each other!
 
if you guys wouldn't be so impatient, wait until minute 6 to check a few
clean sound samples, not much of a great playing, but just testing the stock PUs.

That plinky plinky, plunky plunky stuff he did clean was certainly no defining example of how a humbucker sounds. This captures the flavor a touch more:

Nope .... not me but he's a pretty good player. Nice tone too (and he plays with 9's). Nice LS150 too.
 
2000 LS-320 number 00001, only 5 made, nitro/bronze mixed for the finish..

I recently SOLD the Orville to TF member scooticus & I told him to "send it back" if he didn't like it :)
I haven't seen any packages arrive in the mail lately :(

Bah, I can't decide whether to get a goldtop or not. My wife sais they look like a guitar that Elton John would get, which not made it easier to decide, last time I ask her.
I like them especially with P90's. Either a goldtop with P90's or black with P90's, sigh, I need to decide :-?
