I tried to do a search here on the forum and looked on the Rinkya site but didnt really see much info.
Im interested in buying a guitar from a shop in Japan that has an ad on Digimart, I called the seller and he didnt understand English and I didnt get anything out of that avenue.
my question is: does Rinkya purchase direct from sellers in Japan or do they only do auctions?
do you guys know anyone that will act as a middle man and who is trustworthy??
sorry if this is dumb or has already been discussed.

You would be better off sending emails to Japanese shops. Most Japanese sellers on Digimart will ship overseas and it usually says it somewhere on their site.

Was it this one? White Greco WF140:

The ad says it's from the "Super Real Project Series." The body is made out of maple (like a rickenbacker) and one of the pots has been changed out.

Looks like they'll take a bank wire transfer. Send them an email:

didnt want it to get away.

NIce catch!! 8)

Congrats. :p

It's nice to have a fantastic guitar, it's even better to buy it a fair price! ( very fair here, I bought my 6122 the double of that price! :D )

yeah I really didnt wanna plonk down 1800.00, I can live with what I paid for this one.

For future reference , yes Rinkya will buy for you from any website in Japan. You pay a Rinkya fee for this plus the shipping. In Japan you also pay the 5% sales tax.
