Hi everyone,
my name is Matthieu, I'm new on this forum :) I'm 21, I study Industrial Engeneering in Brussels, and the rest of the time I live in Luxembourg at my parents' place. Sorry for my english, it's not perfect but i'm sure that I'll increase my level here
Now, let me introduce my new baby : a Tokai LS-120 from january 82, all original, awesome sound!

here's a sample I did with my Fender Blues Junior tweed amp, recorded with a crappy PC-mic :

let's the pics do the talking...

see you 8)

Hi Marcus and Mick :D
thanks for your kind remarks ;)

by the way, I would like to try the Peter Green mod on the neck pickup. But I'm afraid of 2 things :
*break something
*the guitar would become "not 100% original"

What do you think about it?

thanks

Hey wmatthieu, welcome to the forum. Nice to see, my ex lady is obviously in good hands again.

Mind your baby and enjoy...

Hi Justus!
good to see you again!! you haven't answered to my mail since I sent you a pic of my face... Am I so ugly? :D

My name is not Justus - my name is Gottfried. I was the pre-pre owner of that beauty.
I sold the guitar once to Justus..

BTW, may I ask to post your pix a bit smaller (max. 100kb)
Thanks

oh! sorry! So hello Gottfried!

Justus told me that he bought her (by the way, she's named Daphne) 10 years ago in Italy. Were you that guy?

The pics are about 150Kb, is it to heavy to download or to large for the screen?
I won't change theses pics (it took me a "long" time to upload them and I'm too lazy too do it again), but no problem for next time

Looking at that LP, I feel like selling my Gibson R8 and getting one of those! Tokai even managed to do some nice white tuner buttons on it, instead of snot green!

Really nice mate :D

Does anyone know what an imprinted 120 in the fingerboard next to the neck pickup means? Does this make it a LS 120? The serial # starts with 000 so I have dated it to 1980.
Thanks
