Well, the non-Japanese production of Orville by Gibson isn't very large.
And I think that cavity covers are changeble!!

The stamped serial number is less changeble

Beautifule Guitar.

I have a MIJ Orville by Gibson standard from 97 that is cherry sunburst and it has cream cavity covers as well.

Check out the ones on Villager's site they all fit that pattern I'm only going off the ones I've seen, but that seems to be the case.
