Replacing pots and caps

The volume pots on my '07 LS85F act almost like a on/off switch. I only notice some difference when the pot is ou 2 or 3.
I don't think the tone pot works the same way. A little twist can make some difference.
Which one are audio/linear?
 
There is a post that addresses this - opinion seems to be that audio is good for all of them and has a better taper for volume - I installed 4 audio - has the same on off effect as you have - they all work really well
