Hi Pals, long time Tokai Loverock fan, first time poster...
I`ve got a couple of pics (non-digital, obviously) of me playing my first Tokai LP.
From peering at the photo`s, I believe the LP in question has two screws on the truss rod cover, cream coloured open coil pickups (not Zebra) and was bought for ?96.00 in 1986 in Glasgow`s Sound Control store at its original site in the Saltmarket area. I eventually sold it for a profit of ?14.00 three years later.
Can anyone tell me if I owned a Jap Tokai, going by the above details?
I know I`m torturing myself but I do need to be put out of my misery so let me down gently.....
