Hi Good guess

confirmation here

http://www.guitarcolonel.com/burny%20and%20fernandes.html

the RLC-115 seen in my 2007 Fernandes catalog has that same headstock inlay...one difference is the gold hardware on the -115 and it says MIJ in the catalog, has a 3 screw truss cover. Whats the model number of the one shown above? Shouldn`t be assumed that logo means MIC.

No serial number in MIJ Burnys.

FG= China made, not my like at all but as a luthier practises or begginer level.
Also....Just check such rosewood fretboard.....

I?ll ad to my statement to be fully correct: Since 1983, Super Grade models have no serial numbers on headstock as fa as I know. There late 70?s SuperGrades with serials however but under FERNANDES brand in headstock,a friend of mine owns a FSA-60 with a thin neck and a brass nut I like.....

if that applies to all Burnys, it`s good to know in case I come across any.
I got a Japanese burny with a serial number stamped on the head stock unless it is a limited edition number
This one is chinese if the number starts FG but I have to say these Chinese Burnys are a cut above the Korean Love Rocks and I love them as much as the MIJs I own....

so it`s agreed the FGs are MIC? The MICs I see here with stickers are no problem to I.D. but sometimes shops remove those stickers...cheeky buggers.

WeThanks guys, interesting stuff.

I bought this as I need a 'cheaper' but decent guitar to gig with. I have become paranoid over damaging (or having knicked!) the SG2000 (black and mint!), on a mic stand or wall.

The Burny is a very nice finish, plays well and sounds fab, though....it is not quite the SG2000! When I come into some dosh I will get a top of the range one I think.

Now these days I play in a punk band...yes...these arent the highest quality clips in the world, but it sure is more fun and less effort than prog rock!!!

This is the John sykes model right?
I glad to hear your like of it as I dont understand this ok for "Luthier practises or begginer level" statment that I have come across twice
I find it disturbing from people who love MIJ guitars that were label the same not so long back lets remember they are made in china with the same machine the Japanese companies use and I am sure any of the would not comprimise there market postions by turning out ****
maybe the woods have changed but thats happening all over the guitar world
