Would it be possible to provide a spell-check facility on the forum?

Mike

You could run google desktop, it provides a spell checker function in all web browser windows. Works for me..........

Doh, my bad, the google spell checker is part of the google toolbar, not the google desktop! Google desktop allows you (amongst other things) to search your hard drive like you do the web, handy if you've forgotten where you saved a file.

Been using both for ages and haven't touched the settings since day one! You should be able to find the spell checker function in the toolbar settings somewhere........

Interestingly (or not!) it appears that the google toolbar spell checker doesn't recognise either 'google' or 'toolbar' as words!?!? -Both are underlined in red every time they appear as I write this post-

I use Mozilla as my browser and the spell checker is built in by default

I'm using IE, but I can't see any spell check options either in IE or on the Google toolbar. The settings on the Google toolbar only relate to searches.

So I'm confused.

I've got it, it's great .. and I still make spelling mistakes. I think I have late on-set dyslexia to add to my growing list of middle-aged ailments.

guess I must be old fashioned or something...I keep a dictionary next to me when I`m on line...`cause theres no doubt about it, after keeping things as simple as possible in class here for so many years my English spelling is suffering...and my French...foggedaboudit.
